A whole box full of goodies for 7.99. Fantastique indeed! I was a little bit leery though. I don't like buying this type of stuff second hand. But I checked and it was all sealed. If you enlarge the photo below you can read about shea butter and L'Occitane.
Look how flat I got my old tube. I am squeezing every last tiny bit out of that tube. The newer tube is not quite as thick as the old one but they might have changed it up a bit. I have had that one tube for years. I just love how well it absorbs. I put it on before I go to bed or after I've been working in the yard. There is no greasy feeling. I have a tube of another brand with shea butter but it doesn't absorb as well. I like the light scent it has too.
Look at all I got. Two travel size bottles on the left. One is a shower cream, the other a lotion. Two bars of soap. An almond hand cream. A pot of 100% shea butter. The large tube of the 20% shea butter hand cream, which is really all I wanted it for. On the right is the foot cream. I think a pedicure is in order now.

Anita, that was a super find. I haven't used it, but have heard it is good stuff.
ReplyDeleteLove L'Occitane. What a bargain you got!!! My favorite product I can not live without is Hollywood Fashion Tape. I use to for everything - to mend a loose hem until it can be sewed, to keeping up loose slingback straps on my shoes - to fixing gaps in between the buttons on my blouses. My favorite cosmetic I can not live without is tinted moisturizer from Laura Mercier. Good stuff!!
ReplyDeleteScore!!! You gotta love that!! I have never used that brand before but I know that others really like it! I am so happy that you found that!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great buy! I haven't heard of it, will be on the lookout for some though. Thanks for sharing. I love Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer. Used it for years.
ReplyDeleteI swear we all channel this stuff to happen to us at those GW/thrift places!!!
ReplyDeleteThe other day I made a B Line to our GW, was on my way to Old Navy to get my oldest son a denim jacket...a total out of the blue happening...turned into the GW parking lot instead...walked into the store and found an OLD NAVY DENIM BOYS JACKET for $4.99!!! Bought it and walked out!!!
Score on the body stuff for you!!!
Thanks for stopping by my (non) blog today!!!!!

I love L'Occitane products! Their hand cream is the best. I have dry skin and it works wonders! What a great find that was!
ReplyDeleteWhat a steal!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite product used to be vanilla lip balm by Bath and Body works. They don't carry it anymore and I have not been able to find a replacement since. I would put it on after washing my face every night, and the girls got so used to the smell when I would go in to tell them good night. It just about killed me when they discontinued it!!
If you know of a good lip balm, let me know! (L'Occitane perhaps??)

You certainly got lucky. What a fortunate find. I love L'Occitane products too. My favorite products would include Nexus shampoo and conditioner and I'll agree with Love Of The Sea and say Hollywood Fashion Tape.
ReplyDeleteWoot woot! Score! I love a good find. And thanks so much for stopping by. Your words mean a lot!

ReplyDeleteWhat a find! I might have been hesitant too, but the fact that it had never been opened, I wouldn't have passed it up. I've never tried this before, but it sounds wonderful. Thanks for sharing and visiting:-)

Wow! What a deal. You made out on that one. I love L'Occitane too. I bought mine at a local shop in NC. It does last a really long time. Great for those dry winter months, too.
