The Magic of Giving

Children and dogs are naturally givers.
Givers from the heart.
They want nothing more than to please those that they love.
They will gladly share whatever it is that they have to give.
No matter how little it may be.
A ratty old bone or a sweet holiday treat, even if it's their last one.
They have no expectations.
A warm hug or a scratch behind the ear is what makes them happy.
Isn't this what giving should be?
To give when love truly guides you.
When you expect no gift in return.
When the simple act of giving is all you need.
When the smile on that person's face warms your heart.
That, in and of itself, is a gift.
That is the magic of giving.

  20. Well, now that I'm all caught up, I have to tell you-your house looks fabulous, dahling-FABulous!!!! I especially love those white poinsettias outside.
As for this post, I have to tell you, something is definitely WRONG with my dog. Sure, she will share. But she eats everything I have.

  23. Oh Anita so very VERY TRUE....Well said my CLEVER Friend....!!

I LOVE this pic....The MOMENT has been BEAUTIFULLY captured & I could sit & enjoy it for AGES....!

....hahahahaha....THANK YOU as always for your comment....The 'hob' is actually the frame the shower sits in....Aussie standards advise the hob MUST be made of a cement or stone product because it far less likely to suffer water seepage than a wood based product.... ** sigh ** ....NEVER MIND....In the scheme of things....It is but a blip....!

I hope you're having an EXTRAORDINARY weekend....!

    Cheers from Oz,
    Tamarah :o)
