I saw some flowers on the side of the road the other day.
I didn’t have time to stop. Nor did I have any clippers with me.
When #2 son was a little boy he was the one that would jump out of the car for me and pick the wild flowers on the side of the road.
I would stop the car first though.
Or at least slow down a bit.
Such a great burst of color for the dining room and it was free.
But now I have to pick my own.
Well, my husband did spot the purple ones and jumped out and grabbed those for me.
It doesn’t take much to make me happy :)
beautiful! the found things are often the best..

Such pretty flowers. My sisters and I used to that for our mother when we were young. Still do it every now and then too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bunch of flowers! They make me happy, too! :-) I love how you've arranged them!
ReplyDeleteThat looks beautiful in the vase. I am wanting to go out and cut some too. I am glad you slow down a bit for you son to jump out.
ReplyDeleteWildflowers make me happy too. Due to the drought they are scarce around here.

I love finding wildflowers. I used to make my boys help me get them from the side of the road. Now I'm on my own. Yours look great there, lots of happy yellow!
